An Urban Park
A Stately Outdoor Room
Spring 2026

The program for this project was to create a city block-sized park with four identical pavilions. In my design, two of the pavilions serve as entry points to the park, while the other two are only accessible from within the park and serve as places to pause and rest. The pavilions draw inspiration from the main façade of Ledoux's "Music Pavilion" at Louveciennes - notably the colonnade entry in front of a curved wall, altering the proportions and elements to serve a smaller building and extending that façade to all four sides of the pavilion.

Plan and Section of the Park
The plan of the park centers on a fountain with paths going outward to all four pavilions. Small trees frame the view from the fountain to the side pavilions, with larger trees creating shaded lawns at the four corners of the park.
